As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of multiple databases.

Job Responsibilities:

> Creation and maintenance of SQL queries, ad-hoc queries and query execution plans.

> Daily monitoring of automated processes and maintenance.

> Works closely with application development team to tune and troubleshoot problems.

> Establishes and maintains database backups, disaster recovery & recovery policies and procedures.

> Performs query optimization, database performance evaluation and tuning.

> Perform database Clustering/High Availability support.

> Worked with SQL Server diagnostics information queries such as DMV.

> Define database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships for optimal performance and scalability.

> Install and configure database software and related tools on various platforms.

> Implement and maintain high availability solutions such as database clustering and replication.

> Monitor and analyze database performance using tools and techniques to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

> Investigate and resolve database-related issues, such as data corruption or performance degradation.

Requirements:

> Strong PostgreSQL, MySQL, Maria DB, Redis working experience of min 3years each

> infrastructure knowledge within Azure

> Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). Knowledge MongoDB will be plus.
