Responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings with emphasis in marketing, social media and digital strategy. To accomplish this task, the Market Research Analyst works with the client (either internal or external) to understand, define and document the overarching business objectives. The Market Research Analyst applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. Market Research Analysts frequently present the findings and recommendations to the client.
Responsibilities:
• Communicating with clients to understand and document the business objectives
• Formulating analysis plans and acquiring client sign-off
• Designing or assisting in the development of questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure the necessary data is captured
• Conducting in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods
• Authoring reports containing actionable recommendations an incorporating them into the marketing plans
• Making presentations—answering questions and instilling confidence, by defending the research
• Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.
• Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
• Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace.
• Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
• Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data (such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires), or arrange to obtain existing data.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 1-3 years within the Market Research industry
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
• Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communication abilities
• Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in business administration
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including business intelligence, project management, writing and reporting skills. Effective time management, organizational and leadership skills.
• Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales and business processes.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and managing various projects and be able to work closely with senior management to interpret findings.
• Must be a team player with collaborative personality.
• Project management skills are plus. Must be good at self-pacing and time management
